Fade Away Shawl Crochet Pattern

Happy Spring Everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy during this crazy time. I took a few weeks off from crochet as my heart just wasn’t in it. The past month has been very stressful and scary with the Corona Virus, and it has been hard to stay in routine.

I’m happy to say I’ve been working again and I was finally able to get this pattern finished! I originally designed this shawl to be a beach coverup and I was going to take photos while we vacationed in Hawaii, but sadly we had to cancel our trip because of the pandemic. Luckily this design can be styled so many other ways! Wear it as a coverup over your shoulders, wrap it around your waist like a skirt, or wear it as a triangle scarf! I love versitile designs and I hope you love this one too!

So let’s grab our supplies & let’s get making!

Notes

● This pattern is worked in rows. The chain at the beginning of each row does not count as a stitch. The chains worked throughout the rows do count as stitches.
● The number in parenthesis at the end of each row represents the total number of stitches to be worked in that row. The stitch count for each row will increase by 4.
            Example: Row 1 has 6 STs (4 SC + 2 CH), Row 2 has 10 STs
                (6 SC + 2 CH), Row 3 has 14 STs (6 SC + 2 CH) ect.
● Stitches between the [ ] are to be worked in the same stitch.
● Stitches between the ** are to be repeated.
